    Just made...burnt it tho...and I think white sugar works best...I'm going to make One more attempt...i now know how I should set the heat setting

    What kind of apples? I have Goodland apples trees & a lot of apples. They're a sweeter apple so I likely don't need that amount of sugar?

    This is a great recipe! I used light brown sugar instead of white sugar and add an extra 1/8 of a teaspoon of cinnamon. Delicious!

    I added in the juice from canned apples in substitution for the water, and it was wonderful.
